My approach

People make sense in context.

I believe people make sense in the context of what they have lived through.

My role is not to judge or rush you, but to offer a steady space where your experience can be understood with compassion. Counselling can be a place to notice the patterns that once helped you survive, understand what they may be protecting, and explore what feels more workable now.

My practice is informed by professional counselling training and lived experience with adoption, immigration and recovery. Those experiences shape the way I value context, complexity and the importance of being met as a whole person rather than reduced to a problem to solve.

“The goal is not to force a version of you that looks better from the outside. It is to create enough understanding and steadiness for your own choices to become clearer.”

I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor Candidate (RTCc) with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT). My training includes trauma-informed care, ASIST, addictions, grief and loss, relationship counselling, mental wellness and life coaching.

Sessions are collaborative and paced with care. We may explore emotions, relationships, coping patterns, nervous-system responses or practical ways to create more steadiness in everyday life. There is room to ask questions, slow down, change direction or say when something does not feel helpful.

When you’re ready

You don’t need all the answers to begin.

A complimentary 20-minute discovery call gives you space to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see whether working together feels right.
