Privacy
Your privacy matters.
This page explains the limited ways information may be received through the Sitting With Yourself website and how booking is handled.
Information you choose to send
If you contact Sitting With Yourself by email, the information you provide will be used to respond to your inquiry and to discuss services. Please avoid sending highly sensitive health information by ordinary email.
Email availability
Email can be sent at any time, but it is not continuously monitored. Email and this website should not be used for urgent or crisis support.
Online booking
Appointment booking is handled through an external booking platform. When you follow a booking link, the information you enter is handled within that platform and is subject to the privacy information presented there. The booking platform also provides appointment receipts that clients can use when submitting eligible expenses to their insurer.
Counselling records and consent
Before counselling begins, clients receive information about informed consent, privacy, record keeping and the limits of confidentiality. Questions are welcome at any time.
Alberta privacy law
Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) sets rules for how private-sector organizations collect, use and disclose personal information. Sitting With Yourself aims to handle personal information in a manner consistent with those obligations.

When you’re ready
You don’t need all the answers to begin.
A complimentary 20-minute discovery call gives you space to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and see whether working together feels right.
